Privacy Policy

BanqMaster Pro ("BanqMaster", "we", "us") is a software-as-a-service product built for Indian marriage halls and banquet lawns. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By creating an account you agree to this policy.
1. What we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data. Hall name, owner name, phone number, email address and login credentials you provide at signup.
- Booking and customer data. Booking records, customer names and phone numbers, dates, event types, guest counts, and notes entered by your staff in the course of using the software.
- Financial records. Quotation amounts, advance payments, dues, receipts, and any payment notes you record inside BanqMaster. We do not store card numbers or UPI PINs.
- Usage data. Pages visited, features used, and error logs to help us fix bugs and improve the product.
- Payment transaction data. When you pay for a subscription, we record the amount and date. Payment processing (UPI, bank transfer) happens outside BanqMaster and is governed by your bank or payment provider.
2. Why we collect it
- To provide and operate the BanqMaster service.
- To authenticate your staff and enforce role-based access.
- To generate quotations, receipts and reports that you or your staff request.
- To send you important service notices (account activation, renewal reminders).
- To diagnose bugs and improve reliability.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
3. Where data is stored
Your data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases. We use India-region hosting when available from our infrastructure provider. Data is backed up regularly. All data at rest is encrypted. All data in transit is protected by TLS (HTTPS).
4. Who can see your data
- Your staff logins. Only users you create in your hall account can access your data, subject to the roles and permissions you assign.
- BanqMaster platform operator. The operator (us) can access tenant data for the sole purpose of technical support, bug resolution or legal compliance. We do not read your booking data in the ordinary course of business.
- Not sold. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
- Legal obligation. We may disclose data if required by Indian law, court order or a competent government authority.
5. Data retention and export
We retain your data while your subscription is active and for 90 days after it ends. After 90 days of inactivity following expiry, data may be deleted. You can request a full export of your hall data at any time by contacting us on WhatsApp or email. Exports are provided within 7 working days at no charge.
6. Cookies
BanqMaster uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or any third-party analytics that profile individual users. No cookie consent banner is shown because we do not use non-essential cookies.
7. Your rights
Under the Information Technology Act 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules 2011, you have the right to:
- Review the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Export your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (see Section 9).
8. Children
BanqMaster is a business tool intended for adults running a commercial venue. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18 years of age.

10. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra, India.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we add new features or when applicable law changes. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email before they take effect.
